Ms. Shubhangini is an RCI-licensed, trauma-informed, queer affirmative clinical psychologist, providing holistic care through evidence-based, eclectic, and integrative psychotherapy.

To her, psychotherapy is a collaborative journey of exploration and growth. She strives to provide tailor-made, quality care through a safe, empathetic, non-judgmental space that facilitates exploration and growth.

In her practice, she integrates various approaches like Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Schema therapy, Internal family systems, Emotion-focused therapy, Positive psychology elements, Dialectical Behaviour therapy, Narrative therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural therapy. She uses experiential, and transdiagnostic elements in psychotherapy, with an emphasis on mindfulness and emotion regulation.

She specializes in dealing with trauma, grief, addiction, women mental health, family interventions, couple therapy, psychosomatic, anxiety, personality, and mood disorders. She also combines cognitive retraining with psychotherapy for various neuropsychological conditions.

She believes in the idea of ‘PSYCHOLOGY FOR ALL’ and actively supports preventive and promotive aspects of mental health. Alongside psychotherapy, she is also trained in psychodiagnostic assessments.

She follows a scholar-practitioner model, strongly contributing to psychology research alongside psychotherapy practice. She has an experience of attending over 10 national/international conferences, with over 5 publications in renowned journals. She has been actively involved in collaborating with various NGOs, and is a recipient of multiple awards, like the best paper award, meritorious scholarships, and the best outgoing student awards.
