Ms. Aishwarya Joshi is an empathetic mental health professional who is driven to help individuals overcome their mental health difficulties. She incorporates approaches like CBT, DBT, person-centered therapy into her therapeutic practice. By working as a Therapist in a rehab center in the UK for a year, she has developed an extensive experience as a facilitator within the domain of group therapy for the treatment of addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders. She believes that group therapy can provide a space to cultivate support, a sense of belonging and connection. Along with talking therapy, she has facilitated expressive arts therapy groups, including art and music groups to offer alternative mediums in addition to talk therapy, which can encourage self-expression and exploration in a safe environment but sufficiently challenging for an individual to make progress. She aims to create spaces where similar life experiences can be shared with an attempt to decrease self-isolation.
